In the Media Library, content is displayed according to location. Presets and Band Tracks that reside on your computer can be accessed by clicking on the Computer tab.
Presets stored on the amp can be accessed by clicking the Amp tab. Clicking the Web tab will display all Presets and Band tracks that are available for download on the Fender FUSE Community. These files can be downloaded by right-clicking the Preset or Band Track you wish to download. There is also an Add to Library function that allows for importing of Preset, MP3, WAV, and MIDI files to be imported into Fender FUSE. The Fender Mustang I/II and Fender Bronco 40 amplifiers can store up to 24 instantly recallable presets in its internal memory.
The Fender Mustang III-V can store up to 100 instantly recallable presets in its internal memory. The Fender G-DEC 3 can store up to 100 instantly recallable presets in its internal memory. These can be made up of whatever types of presets you like. Many musicians like to play in a wide range of styles.
For that reason, some users may find it necessary to store 'sets' of certain types and styles of guitar sounds. For example, a guitarist may want to have nothing but blues flavored presets on his amp for a gig. Later on, that person may want more country-ish tones. Using the Mustang, Bronco 40 or G-DEC 3 Backup feature, you can fill your amp with whatever kinds of tones you want, back them up, save the backup as 'Blues Tones', etc.
And have a fresh canvas for your next 24 or 100 Presets. Not only that, you can Restore the 'Blues Tones' backup at a later date using the Restore feature. This gives you the ability to store and load 'sets' of Presets to and from your amp. Excessive latency while using Ableton Live Lite 8 Fender Edition can be caused by two things, using an incompatible non ASIO driver, or high buffer settings for the ASIO driver.
To troubleshoot this, first make sure you are using the most current Fender ASIO driver. In order to check your buffer settings either click the green arrow in your taskbar, or, if in Ableton Live Lite 8 Fender Edition, go to Options-Preferences-Audio and select the Hardware Setup button.
Your buffer setting is displayed in a numerical value. Try lowering the value for less latency. If lowered too much you may notice clicks and pops in your audio. If you do, raise the Buffer Size back to an acceptable level.
What software are you recording with? There is no plug-ins on the track I used. The problem was initially with Studio One and it didn't see the mustang until I chose 'windows audio' which is clearly not the right driver for it. I downloaded the 'universal Fender driver' and Studio one still doesn't want to use that.
I tried audacity and it recognises it but still with latency that makes it impossible to use. I know this can be fixed because I'm sure it's supposed to work but with the THR, it all went smoothly without hassle and there is no latency at all. That's too bad because I'd love to record with the M3.
Hope there is help or an answer for the question I have. I have the Mustang 2 v2 I went to check for new presets & band tracks I found a few I wanted to download but I can no longer get them to download in Fender Fuse. It don't seem I'm the only one having the problem. I tried to use the forum.fender.com from the fuse page and by typing it in and the website will not load. Do any of you know or have heard Fender Fuse is no longer usable? I was only able to find 3 post about the subject and by what I read that's what it sounds like is going on. Click to expand. Here's a delicious irony:After I sent you the message I went to open my Fuse software on my computer.
It won't open. I've uninstalled it and Silverlight, which I'm told it is needed, at least a couple times, rebooted, run as an administrator, took a bath, washed the dishes, everything. And it won't work.Obviously there is something wrong with my computer. So I thought I would go to the Fender forum for help. But, wait, the forums are 'down' so no help there.Delicious, huh? This is interesting. After reading quite a few posts that said Fuse is dead and that you can't download presets, guess what? I just successfully downloaded, installed and played two presets.I told you folks I couldn't get Fuse to load.

But one poster suggested that you should download Fuse, then before installing it, go to properties and set its compatibility to Windows 7, then install it. I did and Fuse said I needed Silverlight 5.0 so it downloaded and installed that. I then ran the software as an administrator and it fired right up.Silverlight 5.0.
Was released in December 2011. One of the posters on the forum guessed that when Microsoft updated Silverlight it did something to make it not work well with Fuse. Another poster, however, guessed that it was some recent Windows Update that was the culprit.Anyway, after hours of getting 'under the hood' and going online I can tell you that. At least for me. Fuse is still working, although I had to go back a few years to get it working.
